Who's seen the 'No makeup selfies?'

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/no-makeup-selfie-trend-raises-1m-for-cancer-research-uk-in-just-24-hours-9205474.html

I think this is an awesome story and something that has done so much good, but there are people that still find so much negativity...

Comments such as:

“Sorry if you’re having your breakfast and this makes you vom”

“Not even my family sees me without make up!”

I'm sure everyone loves make up and enjoys nothing more than getting glammed up for special occasions, nor are we adverse to a little confidence boost by applying a little make up when we are feeling down...

BUT…

At what point did make up become so important to us that we are uncomfortable leaving the house without it, OR that it should even be a noteworthy thing that we share pics with no make up on.

That's just natural isn't it, isn't that how more people should see us more than not...?

In light of this I am continuing the spirit at Ditch The Diet, a company I set up with Ben Gray to help give woman back their confidence, their self worth and the belief they are beautiful, alongside teaching them about food and nutrition - so we are being part of the change...

This week all the Ditch the Diet coaches are committing to going 5 full days without make up, not just a picture in the morning, but are going to be out in the world, standing proud and showing that it is our imperfections that create our beauty - NOT the make up we hide under.

You can read more about it here in this blog and donate via the link in the blog: http://ditchthedietuk.com/already-perfect/

We will be doing this for the Breast Cancer Campaign and would love you to donate £1 per day to one of our coaches....
